Igloo adventure

Dylan and I went on a big adventure on Monday eve. We went on a hike to an igloo up Logan canyon. We left around 5:30 p.m. and hiked in about a mile to an Igloo someone had made. We got to the igloo around 7:oo p.m. Once we got to our destination, we fired up the stove and made our dinner. We had dehydrated meals, they were quite good. We boiled some snow and vaula... It was delish!! Yes, Dylan's nose is glowing. He pointed his head lamp down while the picture was taken.

We had to improvise for silverware, because we didn't have any. We tore to top off the package of the meal and used it for a spoon. It was all an adventure.

Dylan and I inside the Igloo. It was really "cool"!! We will have to build one next winter so that we will have our own little winter bungalow.

Dylan and I in our snow shoes. We truly had a blast!! It is a good thing that he is as adventuresome as he is. I got lucky. He is a good sport and seemed to enjoy every minute of it.

Looks like fun, for you! I don't know, between the avalanche thing and this, I think you are very adventuresome. Did you stay the night? See you this weekend. I think that we will stay by the fire!!

This is an awesme story! Does it take place in AK? Can you go at a time when you can see the Aurora Borealis? I'd like to go to Iceland and sit outside in the mineral springs looking out at the Northern Lights... well, I congratulate you on your adventurous spirit.
